A former member of Secos & Molhados (1973-1974), he was the group's most prominent artist after starting his solo career with the album Água do Céu-Pássaro (1975) and subsequent performances. He is considered by Rolling Stone magazine as the third greatest Brazilian voice of all time and, by the same magazine, the thirty-first greatest Brazilian artist of all time.

JORGE ARAGÃO

The singer and songwriter Jorge Aragão brings joy and a sense of resistance for Brazilian popular art in his new musical project. He is a composer, lyricist, musician and performer. Owner of many hits, “The Poet” as commonly referred to is interpreted by some of the greatest voices of MPB. This artist, who is proudly part of the samba elite that founded “Grupo Fundo de Quintal”, followed a solo career and today has a discography of more than 20 CDs. With his band, Jorge Aragão is used to performing for huge audiences, but he also loves a more intimate environment - a characteristic that makes this singer-songwriter one of the most sought after acts across Brazil and abroad.

Diego Figueiredo

“HE IS ONE OF THE GREATEST GUITARISTS I’VE SEEN IN MY WHOLE LIFE. THE WORLD NEEDS TO LISTEN TO HIS MUSIC.”

- GEORGE BENSON

Diego Figueiredo is an extraordinary bright star among the world's greatest jazz & bossa guitarists. His superb technique, timing and imagination have made him one of the hottest international names. Mixing the best of bossa nova with a modern and creative approach, his concerts have been blowing audiences away in over 60 countries worldwide. This has led to some amazing collaborations: from American guitarist Stanley Jordan, to Brazilian pianist João Donato, and French singer Cyrille Aimmé, to guitar icon George Benson.

STANLEY JORDAN

During his four-decade career, guitar virtuoso Stanley Jordan has consistently displayed a musical persona of openness, imagination and versatility. Whether boldly reinventing classic masterpieces, playing soulful interpretations of pop-rock hits, or blazing through straight-ahead jazz forays and ultramodern improvisations, Jordan takes listeners into unexpected musical territory. Key to Jordan’s fast-track acclaim was his mastery of a special technique on the guitar’s fretboard. Instead of conventional strumming and picking, Jordan's innovative "touch technique" is an advanced form of two-handed tapping. While a handful of other players were using similar techniques, Stanley’s fluid, multi-layered textures and sheer virtuosity raised the bar for excellence. It also allows Jordan to play simultaneously on two different guitars, or even on guitar and piano. “I think of it as a single instrument, but one with a wide range of tonal colours - that’s why I do it”, he explains.
